Z-type is a fun and slightly addictive typing game.  Some of us are old enough to reflect back on our arcade days in the 80's and recall the game "Galaga" where you would try to shoot lasers from your spaceship and annihilate the other spaceships that would fly towards you.  Well, Z-type is a similar type of game where words are flying towards your ship and each correct letter you type sends out a laser to destroy that letter. You must destroy the letters before they hit you.  There are two levels (easy and difficult) but both are played the same way.  This is simply a game that helps develop speed and accuracy.  There are no lessons and no way of tracking  how well a student does with the game.  It would be a good time filler for students who finish work early.
